IPFire 2.11 – Core 64 has been released to the testing tree. It comes with various types of fixes and updates:

• snort has been updated to version 2.9.3.1. The corresponding daq library to version 1.1.1. This enables snort to work with the latest VRT ruleset and fixes some minor bugs.
• Outgoing firewall: The broken MAC rules have been fixed (#10223).
• Update accelerator: The path to the delete icon has been fixed as reported by Jörn-Ingo Weigert.
• pakfire can now use the XZ compression algorithm for the package payload.

Core Update 64 is scheduled to be released within the next 7 days, unless we encounter any serious problems.
